Canadian denim label Naked & Famous has given a pair of their jeans the ultimate Japanese touch. Every time the brand visits Japan to meet with their denim mills, they have been fascinated by the old kimono fabrics and their intricacy; so much so they knew they had to make something with them. Taking 13 oz. indigo rope-dyed Japanese selvedge denim with a dark indigo warp and a pale khaki color weft for extra character, they then chose a a classic red flower kimono pattern for the trim fabric. The kimono fabric appears as pocket bags, yoke lining, coin-pocket lining, the lining of both back-pockets, and the back patch. To finish off, each pair of jeans comes with a 12″ x 12″ bandana made from the same kimono pattern twill. With only 200 pieces made, you can pick a pair up now from all Barneys New York and CO-OP locations including online.
