It takes guts to topstitch, in white, pretty much every look that hit the runway but Miuccia Prada can do just about as she likes. Giving each outfit the look of a paper doll, the designer ditches fantasy for a flat reality in this incredibly pared back line with a ’70s feel. Soft v-neck knits, patterned shirts, leather ‘cool uncle’ coats and distinctly retro suits, this was wearable from start to finish. The palette of browns, deep blues and greys supporting the conservative aesthetic for both men and women, almost shocking in its restraint, Prada comments  “I think that was the only new thing possible. It’s not a moment for crazy.”
