Fashion label Missoni have introduced their Spring/Summer 2015 collection with a runway show during Milan’s fashion week. Drawing inspiration from the ideal of the bohemian traveler, the collection draws on Mediterranean themes, as Moroccan-inspired patterns have been combined with loose fits and light fabrics to create a rough and ready aesthetic. Trucker jackets, suiting, knitwear and scarves are all present on shirtless models, giving the show an air of carefree abandon. Traditional fabrics such as linen, silk, cotton crepe and cashmere have been crafted using traditional methods using heritage looms, embroidered patchwork and hand woven techniques.
