If Boglioli‘s last Spring/Summer 2014 collection was muted and old-timey, their Spring/Summer 2015 lineup is much more vibrant and youthful. Inspired by the Mediterranean lifestyle of the 1960s and ’70s, the collection takes from Tuscany’s historic Ill Pellicano Hotel, bringing in bright colors reminiscent of the hotel’s surroundings. Soft yellow is a call to straw, blues and greens paint a picture of quaint landscapes and deep reds resemble the bricks in Tuscan village homes. Despite the vibrancy, however, nudes, whites and grays offset the palette for a refined balance. The garment styles remain altogether classic, with loosely tailored knitwear and suits made of jacquard and Irish linen.
