Designers Carol Lim and Humberto Leon have once again decided to turn to video for the campaign of their KENZO Fall/Winter 2014 collection. The video takes the viewer on a mysterious journey into an unfamiliar world, where the ordinary is distorted, the unknown is commonplace, and the beautiful and the strange coexist. With the collection itself heavily inspired by David Lynch and his oeuvre, the video itself follows a similar path. The campaign was created by KENZO’s creative directors, Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, in collaboration with TOILETPAPER magazine’s creative team. It’s the third time both parties have worked together on the brand’s campaigns, and the videos are fast becoming known for their reflection of KENZO’s playful and eccentric style.
