Weiss Watch Company has unveiled a new edition of their Standard Issue Field Watch. Weiss Watch Company is currently the only watchmaker in the United States designing, engineering, and manufacturing their own cases and dials, as well as finishing each movement by hand. The new Standard Issue Field Watch features a revised case and crown design in stainless steel, and a mechanical movement with over 100 components. All case parts, dials, hands, spring bar tools, Cordura canvas and leather straps, and white pine packaging are designed, engineered and manufactured in Los Angeles. The mechanical movement, buckles, case-back screws and spring bar screws are made in Switzerland, with hand finishing and assembly completed at Weiss’s Los Angeles studio. Dial colors are currently available in black or white, forged from solid brass with hand-painted contrast details. Furthermore, highly transparent sapphire crystal is used on the front and back. The Standard Issue Field Watch is currently available at Weiss’s online store.
