Where the runway meets the street

Unlike their Fall/Winter 2013 lookbook filled with bright patterns, Native Youth take to muted, darker tones with their Fall/Winter 2014 selection. While this season showcases a progression toward a more mature image, the overarching theme — a casual-wear and sportswear blend with British influence — still remains intact. Diversifying this collection of everyday winter essentials, wool duffle coats and bomber jackets come in alpaca knits treated with “Japanese enzyme” washes and acid washed jerseys. Like the different wash treatments, most, if not all, of the garments undergo innovative construction techniques and/or utilize state-of-the-art cotton/nylon blends. We believe the brand is more than successful in keeping to its primary goal: “to make clothes that guys actually want to wear.”
