For Spring/Summer 2015, Marshall Artist presents a progressive collection of modern British tailoring combined with an impressive array of technically advanced garments. Research and experimentation have led to the development of several outstanding pieces including the Short Parka constructed from overdyed Teflon-coated nylon which is finished with what the brand describes as their “Blister Wash,” giving each garment a unique and distinctive coloration and hand feel. In the same vein, Marshall Artist also introduce the Premium Windcheater—a future sportswear-influenced silhouette constructed from a tactile memory coated nylon. Lightweight fabrics are a key strength of the collection’s outerwear component with several lightweight seam-sealed shell jackets constructed from micro technical shell fabrics that are specifically produced to a high technical standard for complete lightweight protection. Classic color blocking appears throughout with standout pieces including the Gabardine Sailing Smock and lightweight loopback Sailing Sweatshirt. An extensive “Core Line” is once again presented incorporating fleece, jersey and pique pieces of exceptional quality as well as crisp oxford shirts and gabardine shorts. A mature color palette is apparent throughout the collection; navy, bordeaux, ice blue and ecru sit comfortably alongside a monochromatic palette of black, white, light stone, graphite and light anthracite. Additionally, splashes of jaffa, royal and russet red add pops of color throughout. For the latest from Marshall Artist be sure to visit the brand’s official website.
