Co-directors Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller reunite to bring Miller’s visually stunning Sin City graphic novels back to the big screen in Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. The movie combines both old and new material, with various storylines taking place before and after the events of the first film. Characters who died in the first film are still alive, and events that were only alluded to in the previous film actually occur on screen in A Dame to Kill For. Weaving together two of Miller’s classic stories with new tales, the town’s most hard-boiled citizens cross paths with some of its more notorious inhabitants. Sin City: A Dame to Kill For hit theaters on August 22 and stars Jessica Alba, Powers Boothe, Mickey Rourke, Joseph Gorden-Levitt and Josh Brolin.
