New Parisian label Drapeau Noir present their inaugural Fall/Winter 2014 lookbook. Though the brand is based in France, the garments endure a global production process, sourcing quality fabrics from Japanese mills and constructing the final product in Portuguese workshops. Showcasing a wide range of sophisticated basics, from the heather grey crewneck to the blackwatch button-down, Nicolas Barbier, founder and creative director, states that we “create the clothes we want to wear.” A brand founded out of passion, Drapeau Noir successfully tackles the not-so-easy task of reinterpreting minimalism for the everyday gentleman. Retailing in both France and Tokyo, we are ready for the label to come Stateside. For now, you can purchase the collection here.
