We love discovering new designers with old-world sensibilities. May we introduce Poglia, a New York-based design company handcrafting one-of-a-kind knives. With heavy influences from Italy and a production operation in Southern Brazil, the young label possesses a wealth of culture to draw from. Their beautiful knives are hand-cut and shaped from repurposed metal and attached to horn, wood or bone handles that only look better with time. We suggest limiting these to kitchen use — you wouldn’t want the TSA to confiscate one of these babies. Learn more about Poglia here.
