Following up on H&M‘s Fall/Winter 2014 collection video, we take a fuller in-depth look at the label’s forthcoming Studio Collection. Like the collaborative effort with Isabel Marant, this collection follows the brand’s move toward a “high fashion” appeal. This fall release contains motorcycle jackets and leather biker pants reminiscent of the ever-so-trendy Saint Laurent and Balmain equivalents. Augmenting the rather grungy silhouettes is a muted color palette — a selection of white, grey and black well-suited for the colder seasons. Aside from the punk-inspired garments, there is a bountiful number of formal pieces like wool city coats and pleated trousers cleanly tailored like ZARA‘s Fall line. Rounding out the versatile collection are sneakers, boots, dress shoes, scarves, caps and beanies. For those seeking a refined rock ‘n’ roll look, the collection is set to release on September 4 in stores and online.
