For Fall 2014 Boston retailer Concepts has teamed up with Converse on the Chuck Taylor All Star 1970s. Earlier this year the two have already worked on the Pro Leather in a special St. Patrick’s Day make-up. This time the store took a military route in terms of design and presents the “Zaire Leopard Camo” All Star 1970s. Featuring a full canvas upper, the sneaker has been given a leopard spot camouflage patterns from the 1970s, inspired by the Zairean army. The theme has been applied throughout the entire sneaker, as seen with the bandolier heel loops and the pins that have been placed on the side panels, reminding of army jacket patches. The Concepts for Converse Chuck Taylor All Star 1970s “Zaire Leopard Camo” will exclusively release at Concepts in-store and online on August 16. This marks yet another strong collaboration by Concepts, shortly after the release of their strong ASICS Gel Lyte V.
