Where the runway meets the street

Audrey Hepburn was often the muse of photographer Richard Avedon. Over the course of his career, Avedon captured the actress in moods and moments across fashion shoots, city streets and magazine covers for Harper’s Bazaar during the 1950s.

In celebration of their bond and working relationship, Harper’s Bazaar, for their annual Fall Fashion issue, turn back the clock with a modern photo editorial featuring Hepburn’s granddaughter, Emma Ferrer in her modeling debut photographed by Michael Avedon, grandson of Richard Avedon. The editorial features a “best of” collection of looks for fall, styled on Ferrer in a fitting tribute to her grandmother. Edited by none other than Bazaar‘s Joanna Hillman. See the full shoot and read the accompanying interview at Harper’s Bazaar.
