Graffiti and street art writer and photographer Ray Mock has produced Banksy in New York. The book details the elusive British artist’s residency in New York, providing a firsthand account of reactions from the locals and building owners to the controversial defacement and in some cases, the eventual removal of the art works. Featuring over 120 photographs and illustrations, the publication contextualizes the impact of Banksy‘s time in the city. Banksy in New York will be available from August 15 at the Carnage webstore. And check out some of the aforementioned works from his “Better Out Than In” New York residency here.
