Infant Japanese label BIB (Be In The Bag) has dropped a second line of backpack-inspired utilitarian bibs. While the word “bib” may inspire thoughts of toddlers and infancy, there’s nothing juvenile about the line. Not only is the original ‘50s and ‘60s inspiration is successfully translated from the first collection, the utility details like double zippers and extra-large pockets reveal unassuming workwear as a second point of reference.
In preparation for autumn’s cooling weather, BIB has turned to warm hues and heavy-duty materials like wool and cotton that are meant to stand up to the strain of outdoor winter activities. Between the wool herringbone, oak-colored oiled cotton and burnt orange paraffin models, there’s plenty of choices for hunting season or just a fall wardrobe update.
