After showcasing their phenomenal waterproof backpacks, rainwear specialists Hunter venture into the men’s and women’s apparel scene for Fall/Winter 2014. The first collection from the 158-year old brand, this water-resistant offering is filled with an array of trousers and outerwear pieces, from bubble jackets and toggle coats to trenches and bombers. All garments are crafted from, what appears to be, waterproof materials — rubber being one of the primary fabrics, of course. Aside from a few rather avant-garde offerings like eye mask beanies, the monsoon-friendly collection is appropriate for everyday wear. The label looks to be heading in the right direction with both fashionable and innovative clothing. This fall, match their new backpacks and classic boots with these bold raincoats. From the looks of the runway, a completely rainproof head-to-toe rainwear outfit may not be so bad.
