While Lamborghini and McLaren, amongst many other sportscar manufacturers, presented some fantastic evolutions of their ranges at this year’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance this past weekend, the Renovo Coupe might have solen them the show, even if just a little bit. The first all-American electric supercar, the Renovo Coupe is modeled after the 1964 Shelby Daytona Coupe and packs a 500 horsepower engine, that pushes the sportscar with a stunning 1,000 lb-ft torque in just 3.4 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h. The Renovo team also developed new battery technology, which would allow them to not only impress with performance, but also with light weight on a battery-powered electric car. Of course all of that also comes at a price – upon its release, the Renovo Coupe will cost $529,000.
