Charmingly worn and even more charmingly restored, vintage drawers by Schubladen have all of the character associated with age. Berlin-based designer Franziska Wodicka has a passion for mending things, and Schubladen combines the best antique features of old cabinetry with clean contemporary touches. The resulting collection is one that is modern in spirit, yet still warm and friendly.
For those looking to purchase any of Wodicka’s creations, it’s advised to move quickly. On June 26, 2013 the company closed the doors of its Kortestr shop, and placed the remaining 1,400 vintage drawers (yet to be made into Wodicka’s trademark creations) in storage until further notice.
