Concept Restaurant “HALLO HELLO” Opens in Copenhagen Airport

While many would argue the most important part of a meal is how it tastes, Danish conceptual dining outfit I’m A KOMBO maintain how you eat is just as crucial. Having been responsible for some incredibly novel culinary experiences over the years, their latest – entitled HALLO HELLO – has just opened at Copenhagen airport. Addressing the remarkable statistic that more than 50% of travelers fly alone, they’ve devised a way to bring solitary strangers together by getting them to share a three-course meal cooked by a top gourmet chef.

Sitting down opposite each other, guests will be presented with a tray that doubles as their dining table on which their surprise meal (a choice of either “meat” or “fish”) will be revealed, including a number of dishes intended to be shared. The dessert course is then served in a goodie bag which can be taken with them and enjoyed elsewhere, either together or on their own. If you’re intrigued by the prospect of an impromptu blind dinner date to pass the time before flying, the three-course meal costs DKK 250 (around $45) with drinks at around $9. It’s open right now until September 14 and more info can be found here, so stop by if you’re feeling curious.
