As the smartwatch race heats up and with the rumor going around of Apple most likely announcing its new iWatch on September 9, rival Samsung today officially announced its new curved display Gear S watch. This next generation wearable by the Korean brand comes with a new two-inch curved AMOLED display, 3G, as well as Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity, which allows you to seamlessly make and receive calls directly from your wrist, or get calls forwarded from your smartphones. Furthermore the Samsung Gear S is also a perfect health and fitness companion with more enhanced multi-sensors, built-in GPS and robust S Health features. Applications such as Nike+ Running allow users to track their runs and stay motivated while on the move, without their smartphone. Look out for the official release of the Samsung Gear S, come October 2014.
