The Davis Residence by Miller Hull

Architects Miller Hull have recently completed their latest property in rural Washington State. Dubbed “The Davis Residence,” the 1,400-square-foot house is located on a wooded cliff site with views of the state’s coastal San Juan Islands, with a gently sloping roof containing kitchen, entrance and studio rooms with a vertical tower hosting the living room and master bedroom above. Emphasizing the building’s timber construction thanks to an exposed joist, diaphragms and accompanying paneling, the architects have created a beautiful home nestled in similarly attractive and peaceful surroundings.
