She may be an architect, but Zaha Hadid does not constrain herself to just structural design. For a recent project, Hadid linked with Italy’s Slamp to create a truly unique chandelier display featuring LED lights.
The finished product highlights Zaha’s familiar use of sweeping curves, here constructed from Slamp’s trademark Cristalflex material. The Aria Transparent boasts 50 curvacious panels, each welcoming LED lights along their axis. The overall look boasts an “almost aquatic” feel, embodying a notably futuristic aesthetic.
Follow on over to Slamp for additional details on the chandelier.
