Sure you need great sole traction for board grip, but what about for stomping on various objects such as bananas? Exactly, that market is pretty much untapped, but Dime and Vans look to remedy the issue by releasing their take on the Slip-On Pro. The retooled classic boasts multiple performance upgrades including UltraCush HD Cushioning, Pro Vulc Lite construction, DURACAP reinforcements and of course, the superior stomping control that only its transparent Vans Original Waffle outsole can provide. The Dime x Vans Slip-On Pro will be available at select retailers beginning August 8.

To celebrate their collaboration, Vans and Dime will be opening a pop-up store in Montreal’s Plateau neighborhood, which will remain open from August 8 to August 15. The store’s minimalistic design will emphasize the shoe as well as Dime’s new product collection.
