It’s been 12 years since the cast of Friends appeared on a set together. That’ll change this February when NBC hosts a two-hour-long special to celebrate TV director James Burrows, who helped pen 15 Friends episodes and recently reached a 1,000-episode milestone over his lifetime for his work on Crowded. Stars from other Burrows-directed shows – including Will & Grace, Cheers and Frasier – will be on hand to commemorate Burrows’ successes.

It’s expected that all six Friends cast members will take the stage in unison. NBC chief Robert Greenblatt expressed optimism at the notion, saying: “I’m hoping all six will be in same room at same time, I’m not sure we can logistically pull it off.”

The special will air on Sunday, February 21 on NBC.
