Where form meets function

Central Saint Martins grad Merve Kahraman’s work has landed her in architecture and design studios across the globe. She’s even spent some time as one of the creatives at Tom Dixonm’s celebrated label.

Her newest creation is a delightful desktop lamp that takes inspiration from a dinosaur’s egg. Dubbed “Oviraptor”, the fixture features an opaque egg-shaped unit nestled into a glass and marble casing which resembles a cracked egg shell.

This whimsical little creation is a perfect accessory for those times an everyday lamp just won’t do.

You can purchase “Oviraptor” with an antique bronze, copper or silver base. Price is available on inquiry through Kahraman’s website.
