Where the runway meets the street

Danish label Norse Projects’ Pre-Fall 2016 lookbook maps out the intersection between indigo culture and nautical style. Pitting various shades of blue against light neutrals, the collection uses complex textural expressions to intensify ripstop structures and sporty cotton pieces.

Multiple hues of indigo make up the label’s most recent color story, while classic breton and nautical stripes – inspired by the work of expressionist painter Agnes Martin – pay tribute to maritime heritage.

Look for the Norse Projects Pre-Fall 2016 collection to arrive online in the near future. In the meantime, check out the label’s recent collaboration with Dr. Martnens.
