Red Bull’s latest batch of jaw-dropping visuals comes from a pair of death-defying slackliners, Danny Menisk and Nathan Paulin, who more than doubled the sport’s previous world record by walking over 1km on a line suspended above the mountains of Aiglun, France.

The stunt took over an hour to complete, as the two athletes (/maniacs) precariously stepped the line that measured a total of 3,346 feet (that’s 1.019km for all you metric users out there).
