Boutique retailer Sneaker Politics has teamed up with Reebok to drop a seersucker edition of the ’90s cult classic Instapump Fury silhouette.
The collaboration takes inspiration from the Deep South, where seersucker fabric is a popular choice for keeping the wearer cool and stylish while battling the intensity of the Southern weather. The puckered, striped material has been a mainstay in Southern fashion for over 100 years, and now it’s been draped over another summer essential: the Reebok Instapump Fury.
A white leather upper wraps around the cotton seersucker on top of the shoe, matching the white midsole that sits atop of the sleek gum bottom. Matching hangtags and insoles finish off the look. With its combination of seersucker print and super breathable construction, it’s a sure-fire success for summer.
The Reebok x Sneaker Politics Instapump Fury drops online and in-store on June 9.
