It was not going to be easy for 19-year-old rapper Desiigner to follow up his mega-hit “Panda.” The song has been one of the biggest tracks of 2016, with the official video and audio release doing a combined 110 million views on YouTube alone. Teased during his XXL Freshman freestyle, Desiigner has released yet another banger last week, his new track "Tiimmy Turner."

The catchy hook that was presented in his freestyle already had been turned into an equally addictive track. Everybody was of course wondering afterwards who Desiigner could possibly be talking about in the track. Who is Timmy Turner? During a recent interview with All Def Digital he goes through the track and explains into further detail on all characters in the track. Turns out, Desiigner himself is Timmy Turner. “Timmy Turner is me. I was referring to myself when I was saying I ‘was wishin’ for a burner.' And when I said ‘she f*ckin’ for BET,’ I was referring to a girl that, you know, would do anything for the fame,” Desiigner explained in the filmed interview. “Then I would say in the song that I know that my soul’s in the furnace; because if I know that I wish for the burner, and she knows that she would do anything for the fame, you know you go to hell.” Watch the full interview here above and good luck trying to understand what he is saying.
