antibirth-trailer-001

The first trailer for new film Antibirth has been released and it looks like it could possibly be the most horrifyingly gross film of the year.

The new, Sundance Festival-screened horror-comedy stars Natasha Lyonne (Orange is the New Black) and Chloë Sevigny (Big Love, American Horror Story) playing a pair of very hard-partying women who spend their days in a drug and alcohol-induced haze. Things go from wild to batshit crazy, however, when Lyonne’s character, Lou, wakes up with the symptoms of an unexplained, and let’s just say abnormal, pregnancy.

The trailer itself features sex, blood, gore, and unborn child being pressed up against a microwave. It’s one for those of us who have a very high shock threshold and a very, very twisted sense of humor. Check it out above.

The film is being released in cinemas, on VOD, and via digital platforms by IFC Midnight on September 2.

After you’ve finished, here are eight underrated zombie flicks every Highsnobiety reader should see.
