Artifox Studios is an American furniture brand that deals in functional and contemporary pieces for urban lifestyles. To the naked eye, Artifox’s designs might look minimal and austere in the extreme, but scratch beyond the handcrafted, walnut surface and you’ll often find a trove of hidden features and storage compartments.
Previously, the company — run by husband and wife design duo Sarah and Daniel Mirth — wowed with the ultra sleek Desk 01, and now two years on, they return with Desk 02. Like its predecessor, the desk pleases both practically and aesthetically; utilising both hardwood and steel for durability. A built-in dock is perfect for hosting a range of devices, while cable clutter is negated by the grid organizer. Pegs also feature on both legs, meaning the soul-destroying act of persistently untangling headphones becomes a memory of the past.
Also available is the shelf, which not only doubles up as a notice board and magnetic surface, but can also be hung in differing orientations depending on your space. The sturdy surface is made from powder coated steel and is able to hold up to 35lbs.
