Just a day after it was revealed Angelina Jolie has filed for divorce from Brad Pitt and rumors began to circulate that the actor had been having an affair with Marion Cotillard, the first trailer for Allied has been released. The film just so happens to star, you guessed it, Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard.
Not only do the two stars feature alongside each other, the romantic WWII drama sees the pair fall in love. Pitt plays U.S. intelligence officer Max Vatan, who encounters French Resistance fighter Marianne Beausejour (played by Cotillard) during a mission behind enemy lines in Casablanca in 1942 to kill a German ambassador. During the mission the pair are forced into a sham marriage, but their feelings for each soon become real.
The new trailer shows the pair getting steamy in a car in the desert, gunning down Nazis at a glamorous banquet, and later moving to London and having a child. “Come with me to London to be my wife,” he says at one point, “I love you with all my heart,” she responds.
Allied, which also stars Lizzy Caplan, Matthew Goode, Raffey Cassidy, Charlotte Hope and Jared Harris, is set reach theaters on November 23. Watch the trailer above.
