As an actor, Johnny Depp is known as one of the biggest chameleons in Hollywood - often hiding his rugged good looks underneath costumes and prosthetics that transform him from a heartthrob and into roles like that of a swashbuckling pirate, eccentric candy factory owner, gonzo journalist and Boston mobster.

While one would expect Depp to have eclectic tastes as it relates to his homestead, we now have a good sense of what exactly his interior decorating tastes are like after his Los Angeles penthouse was put on the market for $12.78 million USD according to the Wall Street Journal.

Comprised of five condo units - four two-bedrooms and one one-bedroom - that is perched atop the Eastern Columbia Building, a 1930 art deco structure in Downtown Los Angeles known for its four-sided clock tower, Depp originally purchased all the units for $7.2 million USD in a series of transactions between 2007 and 2008 and features a mural by Brazilian street artists Os Gemeos as well as several private terraces.

The realtor in charge of the sale said that the 11,500 square feet of space can be purchased together or separately for those looking for a killer pad with some Hollywood history.

Whether the sale is attributed to his recent divorce or not, it seems Depp certainly has a seller's spirit as of late after relisting his compound in the South of France for $56 million USD a few months ago.
