It speaks volumes for Azealia Banks' sheer douchery over the past year or so that, despite her clutch of certified bangers and unarguable talent as a musician, the singer still manages to find herself stuck without a record deal. Until now, that is. After being effectively blackballed from music, the rapper has now found an unlikely ally in Wu beatmaster RZA who, having already cast Banks in his new film Coco, has also seen fit to offer her what is surely a final music olive branch.

In a message uploaded to Facebook, the Friday Feuds veteran broke the news (note the emphasis on "finally" signing a deal), and spoke of her chemistry with the Shaolin master:

Azealia won't be the first Banks that RZA has worked with musically this year, having already linked up with Paul of Interpol fame for the never-won't-be-bizarre project that is Banks & Steelz. Let's just hope the music that stems from this project is a bit more interesting.

In other hip-hop news, OG Maco has enlisted Lil Yachty for his latest track, "Talk Too Much."
