Under Armour isn’t just about athletic gear, it’s a brand with innovation at its core. In the pursuit of crafting durable footwear and outerwear that can deal with the demands of modern-day city life, Under Armour has introduced the UA PURSUIT Carbon Pack. With a collection of highly-functional gear—including the Fat Tire Onda and Fat Tire Mid—we’ve tapped five photographers in five major cities to show how truly versatile this new Under Armour series is.

Silas “Bludshot” Lee always seems to be right on the forefront of whatever he’s involved with. Co-founder of Team Cozy—a collective that’s equal parts creative agency, community, and lifestyle label—Lee is consistently pushing the visual medium forward with his atmospheric, occasionally haunting photography. While Lee is colorblind, it’s hardly a disadvantage; Lee’s photography utilizes details like film grain and deliberate composition to foster an intimate-yet-dark aesthetic. Ultimately, it’s this blend of ideas that has defined Team Cozy’s “cozy” visual style and fostered a group of supporters from around the world.

With so many up-and-coming photographers capturing cityscapes and sneaker culture—often times within the same frame—standing out is never easy. Speaking on the city where he lives, Lee notes, “LA is where one spot can get overplayed a lot, due to the increasing amount of photographers.” But with a commitment to both his community and to crafting eye-grabbing work, Lee is moving beyond a world ruled by social media likes.

“Social Media hasn't really influenced the way that I shoot, but it certainly has opened up a lot of opportunities for me to shoot more and connect with many other great photographers,” admits Lee. Instead, you’ll find him pursuing photography that will remain compelling long after modern-day attention spans have moved on to the next trending topic.
