Aside from appearing on the Suicide Squad soundtrack and releasing the stand-alone single “Same Hoes” in September, Rick Ross has had a relatively quiet year. His next year, however, is already shaping up to be a big one. Ross has just announced Rather You Than Me, his ninth studio album, which is set to arrive in early 2017.
Ross made the announcement during his performance at last night’s American Music Awards, where he joined Nicki Minaj and Future for a performance of DJ Khaled’s single “Do You Mind.” He wore a hoodie bearing the album title during the entire set, and shortly after released the concrete details of the upcoming album. His last release was 2015’s Black Market, which you can stream below via Spotify.
Rather You Than Me is set to arrive at the beginning of 2017. Stay tuned for further release information.
