Yesterday, Chance the Rapper blessed us all with a surprise new mixtape with Jeremih titled Merry Christmas Lil' Mama, and also happened to be an answer on Jeopardy!. Now he has appeared on comedian Hannibal Buress' podcast "Handsome Rambler" for a revealing (and hilarious) interview. Listen to it below.
The surprise new Christmas mixtape is discussed in detail over the course of their interview, but far more intriguing are Chance's comments on his multiple experiences working with Kanye West over the course of the year. In particular, the two go in-depth on the gospel influence that pervades Kanye's "Ultralight Beam," a track that is really owned entirely by Chance's guest spot.
But of course they have time for fun and games as well, namely in a fantastic quote-guessing game called "Who Said It: Jesus or Young Jeezy."
