Where the runway meets the street

It would appear Copenhagen’s finest, Wood Wood, already has summer on its mind. We were previously given a look at the brand’s denim offerings for SS17, and now the vibrant lookbook is being rolled out in full.

According to a statement, the collection “aims to create a hybrid look sitting between the golden days of the ’90s and today,” and mixes old-school streetwear sensibilities with contemporary detailing and performance styling. The prints and graphics take cues from an architectonic theme, namely urban settings and the Brutalist movement.

For men, a wide array of fabrics are utilized such as twill, leather and classic mackintosh fabric. Standout pieces include a souvenir jacket, long-sleeve T-shirt and old-school tracksuit. Women, meanwhile, will take note of the luxurious satin zipper and badass mock motorcycle jacket. In true W.W. fashion, navy and blue color schemes feature prominently, but there’s also room for a smattering of green, white and red.

Stay posted to these pages for information on pricing and a release date as it emerges. In the meantime, be sure to check out Champion’s cozy collaboration with Japanese retailer BEAMS.
