Wale has linked up with a (very happy) Lil Wayne for the vibrant new visuals for “Running Back.” The video sees Wayne in buoyant mood - a far cry from his downbeat retirement threats last year - alongside the oft-underrated Wale. The aptly-timed, somewhat sport-oriented release comes hot on the heels of this past weekend's dramatic Super Bowl. Though as you can see in the video above, Wale and Wayne can create plenty of drama on their own.

The video features Wale wearing the jersey of former USC Trojans running back Joe McKnight, who was fatally shot in December during a road rage incident. This comes hot on the heels of another new track titled “Groundhog Day,” released on (you guessed it) Groundhog Day last week. Both tracks are expected to appear on his forthcoming album Shine, due sometime this year. Stay tuned for further release information.
