Chances are your bag rotation isn’t quite as refined as your sneaker rotation. Thankfully, French bag and leather designer Bleu de Chauffe has revealed its new SS17 lookbook with enough options to keep your rotation fresh for seasons to come.

The collection features some of Bleu de Chauffe’s signature styles including Charles, Eclair, Justin and Leo. The brand also proves its practical worth with new outdoor-ready designs made in Cordura canvas mixed with vegetable tanned leather and raw canvas.

Bleu de Chauffe’s workshop is located in Larzac, France; the brand is particularly proud of its local roots that have a history of non-violent civil disobedience in France. To this day it works only with Compagnon du Devoir craftspeople on its artisanal products and references the region’s cultural and architectural heritage.

This season the label used buildings in the nearby coastal area of La Grande-Motte to showcase its newest collection shot by long -time collaborator Yves Mourtada. The Grande Pyramide, Point Zero and the Temple du Soleil were used as backdrops to the Spring/Summer ’17 shoot which travels through alleys and gardens within the seaside resort.
