At the beginning of the year, director M. Night Shyamalan returned with a highly entertaining feature in Split. Towards the end of the movie, as with virtually all of Shyamalan's films, there was a notable twist, however, as it was revealed that Split takes place in the same universe as his 2000 big picture, Unbreakable. Now, the famed filmmaker has in turn announced that he is working on a new project that will combine the two aforementioned movies in one sequel, dubbed Glass.

In addition, Shyamalan went on to disclose that Bruce Willis will return as David Dunn, in addition to James McAvoy as Kevin Wendell Crumb and his multiple identities. Furthermore, Anya Taylor-Joy will play Casey Cooke, and Samuel L. Jackson is back as Elijah Price, aka Mr. Glass, for the followup film.

Glass, which for now is due to arrive January 18, 2019, will be produced by Shyamalan and Jason Blum, with Ashwin Rajan and Marc Bienstock, and Steven Schneider, who will executive produce.
