Esteemed business magazine Forbes has unveiled the world’s highest-paid athletes in 2017.

Topping the list with $93 million in salary and endorsement income was Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, which is no real surprise given the Portuguese enjoyed arguably the most successful 12 months in the history of soccer. In addition to winning the UEFA Champions League last weekend, CR7 also won the domestic La Liga title and European Championships with national side Portugal. He was awarded the Ballon d’Or award for world’s best player in December and banked 10 major honors overall.

Basketball’s LeBron James and Ronaldo’s great nemesis Lionel Messi made up the rest of the top three with $86.2 million and $80 million in earnings, respectively. Other notable names to feature were Kevin Durant in fifth ($60.6 million), Stephen Curry in seventh ($47.3 million), and James Harden in eighth ($46.6 million).
