The year leading up to 2000 was a crazy one: Y2K conspiracists, Hurricane Floyd, and of course, Sisqo and his "Thong Song." It's undeniable that 1999 was the a time in which the former Dru Hill singer's rump-shaking anthem was played from car speakers, home stereos, in schools, on beaches - basically everywhere.

Norwegian trio, JCY,  is taking us back to pre-Y2K with the first official "Thong Song" reissue since it originally premiered. The group actually remixed the song for fun, but after hearing their version Sisqo was inspired to re-record all of the vocals.

JCY first rose to prominence after their debut single, "Wasting Your Time," went viral earlier this year. The song has since been streamed over seven million times.
