While we waited for the new season of Game of Thrones to drop, fans were busy analyzing anything GoT-related in case it held meaning for the series. But just because the show is on the air, doesn't mean fans have stopped digging for new plot points.

On a show as visually thought-out as Game of Thrones, it's clear that nothing is there by mistake. After Sunday's episode, fans took to reddit and Twitter to discuss two clues hidden in the first episode.

The first came in the form of a book that Samwell Tarly was reading. While he was researching using dragonglass as a weapon against the White Walkers, we got a quick glimpse of his book. From what we (and Reddit) can make out of the text, it seems like Tarly may have stumbled upon a medicinal use for dragonglass.

One Reddit user, RoboFeanor painstakingly transcribed the text, which reads:

...uted to Westoros. ...er may use dragon ...ss of the stone, which ...ude, and some of the ...earrings adorned with ... Valyrian proves and ... While this is all completely speculative, users on the thread are also speculating that if dragonglass can be used to treat diseases, it could hold the cure for Jorah Mormont.

Other fans took a different approach to deciphering clues in the episode — hairstyles. During the premiere episode, Sansa was wearing a very similar hairstyle to what Cersei used to be spotted in.

In the same episode, Sansa also confessed that she "learned a great deal from" the queen, causing viewers to wonder if Sansa would have a similarly bloody and vengeful future ahead of her.
