Tune in and turn up

When you supply the beat behind a song like, let’s say Nicki Minaj’s “Truffle Butter,” the hype is going to be real for your next release. Luckily, if you’re Maya Jane Coles (who did supply that beat), you’ll know exactly how to keep us interested; by not only supplying us with teases of new music but following those up with extremely high-octane dance remixes of this new music.

Coles is gearing up for the release of Take Flight, her sophomore LP out on August 25. To prepare us, she shared two back-to-back slices of excellence: the tracks “Weak” and “Werk.” Now, both have been given the aforementioned high-octane remix treatment, courtesy of Tiger Stripes and MFS Observatory. Purchase them right here or stream them below via Spotify.

Stay tuned for Take Flight to hit us on August 25. Revisit the video for “Weak” below.

In other music news, Vancouver rapper SonReal has just shared his third full-length ‘One Long Dream.’ Stream it in full right here.
