Where the runway meets the street

There are few logos as iconic as Seinfeld’s. The distinctive red and yellow emblem for the ’90s show rivals that of a Supreme box logo, so it was only a matter of time before a mashup happened.

On Thursday, an Instagram post by eBay retailer Iowa Thrift emerged featuring a black-and-white checkerboard Seinfeld logo with blue font (from Season 8 of the sitcom, to be exact) with “Supreme” replacing the name of the show.

Upon further inspection, these T-shirts are bootlegs, not authentic Supreme. Seems like Iowa Thrift got their hands on some of those $4 blank Supreme tees from K-Mart, and went to town on a screen printer.

At the time of writing, the Supreme x Seinfeld shirts have not yet been listed on Iowa Thrift’s eBay store, which specializes in vintage clothing and Jordan sneakers. However, it appears the original designer of the Seinfeld mockup is @dillongerstung.
