Travelling from DC to Canada, we continue our tour of the Stussy Tribe. Not only does Canada have vibrant examples of the “street” we champion - Skating, writing, breaking, and the like. But it puts, as the Rascal’s point out, a little “Northern Touch” on it all.

Matthew George, of United Front, seemed a good person to touch base with about that touch. He has almost single handedly built a streetwear retail scene in the Great White North. The United Front Empire, including Goodfoot stores, Ransom and Nomad, stretches from West to East. As a group, they cover a great swatch of the streetwear world, and make Matt uniquely suited to talk about the culture from a broad viewpoint.

The newest additions to the United Front family are the Toronto and Vancouver Stussy Chapter stores. Once again, the local meets the global, and Mr. George helps us uncover how that happens, focusing primarily on Toronto.
