Nigel Sylvester rides BMX. Very well. His skill has led to sponsorship from Animal, Mira Co., and, most visibly Nike 6.0. The latter has helped Nigel's profile sky rocket in recent months, and you can see him everywhere from Nike Sportswear catalogs to NYC bill boards.

Off the bike, Nigel is proud owner of Format in Queens, NY. A streetwear boutique with a BMX twist, Format fills a needed void. You also may have noticed he's a member of our HS columnist family as well.

On a rainy day in late July we met up with Nigel Sylvester to shoot a video. As luck would have it, arriving at Sarah D. Roosevelt park, the clouds parted and the stage was set.
