HS: Jeff, For those who are not aware of what a terrain park is or The Stash, can you explain what the differences are?

Jeff: Sure. First and foremost, for anyone that has not been in a park or in The Stash, they definitely need to learn about Smart Style, which is a terrain park safety initiative which we helped the National Ski Areas Associations come up with.

One of the differences you'll see is in a main park you usually have a fall line down the mountain. With The Stash, you could be going into the tress, into a bank run, into a log slide, onto a jib hut. You can use the terrain not as fall line but also sideways, carve around.

I definitely think people need to know proper etiquette for park riding before coming into the Stash. We just finished a new Smart Style video last year with Dave Downing who is here with us. I had him walk through his process [of getting ready] - here is my warm up run to get ready.

A lot of the kids who watch the pro videos and just step right up to tables and go off but they don't realize they're is a lot of warm up and practice. There is a progression that takes place. We really want people to understand that there is a method to the madness and you really should check yourself before you wreck yourself.
